12 Time Saving Keyboard Shortcuts for Editing in DaVinci Resolve

The video goes over 12 time saving keyboard shortcuts for DaVinci Resolve 17 that I use the most. Most of the featured shortcuts are focused around the Edit Page but a few of them carry over to other pages within Resolve. If you commit some of these shortcuts into your muscle memory you are guaranteed to save yourself a lot of time in the long run. If you already know a few of them, then all the better. This week’s video topic goes over the basics of DaVinci Resolve Bins, Smart Bins and Power Bins on the media page. Each of these types of bins work a bit differently from one another but they will all help keep you organized, especially if you are working with a lot of footage. Smart Bins are particularly handy for creating an automated file structure based on metadata either create in-camera or within Resolve using the metadata editor. New Anim Curves Modifier in DaVinci Resolve 17

A lesson of the basics of the new Anim Curves Modifier in DaVinci Resolve 17. Using this animation modifier that is new to DaVinci Resolve 17 you can create animations that are adaptable to different frame rates because they will adjust as you stretch them on your Edit Page timeline. If you are an animator that uses Fusion this has got to be one of the more exciting features to come in the DaVinci Resolve 17 beta. Free Duplicate Zoom Transition Preset for DaVinci Resolve 17

Today I have a little gift for you. I uploaded a video on YouTube that explains how to install a free Duplicate Zoom Transition for DaVinci Resolve 17 that is available for download here. This is a fun, trippy Fusion transition effect that bursts your video into multiple duplicates in a seamless zoom. It is my plan to release a more comprehensive pack of this type of transition with modifiable macro controls, different shapes, and unique orientations.
