How to Use the Perturb Modifier

In this video I explain the basics of how to use the perturb modifier in DaVinci Resolve Fusion to create wiggle effects and more. Using this technique you can quickly and easily add seemingly randomized wiggle motion to any element of your animation, or add intelligently randomized values to any element of a Fusion composition that can be modified with expressions. This way you can introduce just the right amount of chaos to an animation.

In this week’s video I discuss how to keyframe your audio in Davinci Resolve 17 Fairlight. This will allow you to tweak specific sections of audio to even the loudness level throughout your recordings. Using these techniques you can even remove unwanted sounds between sentences without much effort. Keyframing your audio can be a good way to correct unwanted level adjustments caused after normalization.
